LocalNostr - Posts from within one kilometer of you
LocalNostr is a Nostr client that only shows you posts from within one kilometer of your physical location. No global feed. No algorithmic timeline. No signup or account creation. Just the notes and updates from the people standing near you. Why this exists. Global feeds turn every place into the same noise. Your neighbor's note about a blocked street, a lost dog, a free couch, or a new café matters more than a stranger's opinion from another continent. LocalNostr bets that hyperlocal context is worth more than viral reach, and it's willing to make that bet by design—not by feature toggle. How it works. Every post on Nostr can carry a geohash tag: a short code that identifies a roughly neighborhood-sized square on a map. LocalNostr computes your geohash locally, asks public relays for recent events tagged with nearby geohashes, and filters the results again on the client to enforce a strict 1 km radius. Your precise GPS coordinates never leave your browser. When you publish a note, only the coarse geohash goes with it. What it is not. It is not a fork of any existing client. It is not a relay. It is not a service, a company, or a login. There is no backend. It is a single HTML file that runs in your browser and talks directly to relays over WebSocket. What you get. A chronological feed of nearby posts, with approximate distances ("~300m away") but never your location. You can post notes to your local area with a coarse geohash attached. Your keys are generated locally the first time you open it and stored in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is sent anywhere except signed events you choose to publish. The radical constraint. There is no way to escape the 1 km radius. There is no "show me global" button. This is intentional. It will feel too small for some people. It will feel exactly right for others. Under the hood. Built on NIP-01 (events and relay protocol), NIP-19 (bech32-encoded entities), and NIP-CC (geohash conventions). Connects to 4 relays at a time, chosen from a pool of ~400 by a scoring system that exploits known-good relays and explores new ones every 5 minutes. Reads recent events with a #g tag filter and re-verifies distance client-side with the Haversine formula. Supports NIP-62 (Request to Vanish) so you can ask relays to delete everything signed by your key. Run it. Open index.html in any modern browser. Grant location permission (or enter coordinates manually). That's it. Status. Working prototype. The protocol supports everything here. The only open question is whether people want it.

FROSTNostr — t-of-n signatures, zero private keys
A browser-based t-of-n FROST threshold signer for Nostr. Any t members cooperate to produce one ordinary BIP340 Schnorr signature under a single group key — and no device ever holds the private key. Pure client-side, no build, no backend.
Armada
A sovereign harbor on the open relays — private communities, channels, and voice. Your keys, your fleet.
Nostr Relay Cleanup
Nostr Relay Cleanup is a zero-build, single-file HTML/JS web application designed to help users prune their Nostr relay lists (kind: 10002) and set Blossom media server lists (kind: 10063) in under two minutes. Built with privacy and key security in mind, it never handles private keys directly, connecting instead via browser extensions (NIP-07) or remote signers (NIP-46). Core Architecture & Workflow * Authentication & Key Safety: Supports connection via NIP-07 extension signers (window.nostr) or NIP-46 remote bunker URLs (bunker://), requesting signatures only for final event publishing without key exposure. * Step-by-Step Guided Setup: * Connect Signer: Authenticates the user's public key out-of-band. * Review Current Setup: Queries bootstrap relays to inspect published kind: 10002 relay lists and kind: 10063 Blossom server lists, displaying current list statistics and recommendations. * Select Relays (kind: 10002): Offers curated, current, or custom relay selections with fine-grained Read/Write toggle markers (R, W) and a target recommendation of 3–5 relays. * Select Blossom Servers (kind: 10063): Configures media host locations using curated lists or custom inputs to ensure redundant asset hosting. * Confirm & Publish: Computes a detailed diff of added, removed, and kept servers/relays alongside raw JSON previews before requesting signer signatures. * Fan-Out Distribution: Broadcasts signed events across target relays (new, old, and bootstrap) simultaneously, reporting real-time delivery metrics.

finger - nostr
FingerNostr is a zero-build, single-file HTML/JS web client that modernizes the classic RFC 1288 finger protocol for the Nostr ecosystem. Operating entirely within the browser without external build tools or backends, it formats Nostr user profile information, notes, and relay metadata into clean, terminal-style 80-column text output. Core Functionality & Protocol Support * RFC 1288 Plaintext Rendering: Formats standard Nostr profile events into plain text blocks containing user metadata, write/read relay lists, and recent activity. * Query Syntax & Resolution: Supports querying via NIP-05 identifiers (user@domain.com), raw public keys (npub1... or 64-character hex), NIP-19 entity links (note1..., nevent1..., naddr1...), and NIP-11 relay info URLs (@relay.domain.com). * Two-Tier Streaming Relay Pool: Uses an embedded pool of fast-tier relays to deliver instant profile preview renders, while concurrently querying a wide background pool to stream in additional relay notes and metadata. * Advanced Commands: * /watch or /tail: Establishes a live streaming tail of new text notes (kind:1) published by a target pubkey. * /follows: Traverses and displays a profile's kind:3 follow list with multi-depth capability. * /add, /rm, /roster: Manages a locally stored target list for bulk querying. * /W: Toggles verbose output mode to output raw JSON payloads alongside human-readable text.

FAXTR - Nostr Fax Terminal
FAXTR is a single-file, offline-first web application styled after a vintage office fax machine that acts as a Nostr client for sending and receiving long-form text, public notes (kind:1), and confidential encrypted messages (kind:1059 / NIP-17). Features include an audio synthesizer for authentic DTMF and modem handshake sounds, a simulated VFD display and LED status strip, speed-dial contact management, scheduled memory queuing, and local session management with support for NIP-07 extension signers, NIP-46 remote bunkers, and ephemeral nsec key entry.
Bitcoin Governance - Schnorr Voting & P2WSH Multisig Pool
This experimental, zero-dependency browser tool provides an off-chain BIP-340 Schnorr voting engine paired with a native P2WSH multisig transaction builder for Bitcoin governance. Executing entirely client-side using inline WebCrypto primitives, it enables voters to generate keypairs, construct Pedersen commitment vote proofs with nullifiers for one-vote-per-key verification, build K-of-N P2WSH scripts (with optional OP_CLTV timelocks), and export PSBT transaction templates without broadcasting data or handling private keys online.
