Nostr Relay Cleanup is a zero-build, single-file HTML/JS web application designed to help users prune their Nostr relay lists (kind: 10002) and set Blossom media server lists (kind: 10063) in under two minutes. Built with privacy and key security in mind, it never handles private keys directly, connecting instead via browser extensions (NIP-07) or remote signers (NIP-46). Core Architecture & Workflow * Authentication & Key Safety: Supports connection via NIP-07 extension signers (window.nostr) or NIP-46 remote bunker URLs (bunker://), requesting signatures only for final event publishing without key exposure. * Step-by-Step Guided Setup: * Connect Signer: Authenticates the user's public key out-of-band. * Review Current Setup: Queries bootstrap relays to inspect published kind: 10002 relay lists and kind: 10063 Blossom server lists, displaying current list statistics and recommendations. * Select Relays (kind: 10002): Offers curated, current, or custom relay selections with fine-grained Read/Write toggle markers (R, W) and a target recommendation of 3–5 relays. * Select Blossom Servers (kind: 10063): Configures media host locations using curated lists or custom inputs to ensure redundant asset hosting. * Confirm & Publish: Computes a detailed diff of added, removed, and kept servers/relays alongside raw JSON previews before requesting signer signatures. * Fan-Out Distribution: Broadcasts signed events across target relays (new, old, and bootstrap) simultaneously, reporting real-time delivery metrics.
